Artist Nyoman Nuarta's sculpture Tiga Mojang (Three Women) was torn down by an angry group of fundamentalist Muslims last month, calling the statue a depiction of the Holy Trinity and "pornographic." Extremist groups are taking the law into their own hands in reaction to what they perceive to be a rising threat of Christianization.
