The Iranian government has recently set its sights on the weakest members of its society: women and children. According to the Washington Post, the Iranian State Television Manager, Ezzatollah Zarghani, has released a memo to all station heads that is effective immediately. Female television presenters appearing on-camera will no longer be allowed to wear make-up and will, literally, have to “shine” all on their own.
