Forget about all the threats, ongoing UN sanctions and continued scrutiny from the international community. Iranian authorities have bigger fish to fry. The Iranian government has recently set its sights on the weakest members of its society: women and children. According to the Washington Post, the Iranian State Television Manager, Ezzatollah Zarghani, has released a memo to all station heads that is effective immediately. Female television presenters appearing on-camera will no longer be allowed to wear make-up and will, literally, have to “shine” all on their own.
