It’s very common to see a beggar, a.k.a. ‘bum’ or ‘baglady’, begging for loose change on many of the urban streets in America. Ever since the global economic crisis has dug in its heels, the number of homeless people living on the streets of America has seen an alarming upsurge in many major U.S. cities. Unfortunately, begging in the U.S. is not very fruitful as most Americans are already struggling on budgets where even the odd nickel counts.
