At some point in time, the Muslim world divided into two major cultural factions, Desi Muslims and Arab Muslims. Desi Muslims are from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and sometimes Afghanistan (but usually not Afghanistan). Arab Muslims are from Arabia...I think.
