The Daily reports that Saudi officials have authorized the construction of what will be the tallest building in the world, the mile-high Kingdom Tower. The 5,280 ft. behemoth will stand nearly twice as tall as the current record holder for tallest skyscraper, Dubai’s Khalifa Tower, and feature apartments, offices, and a luxury hotel. The price tag to build the massive structure is estimated at $30 billion.

Definitely a significant increase from the 674,000 issued the previous year.
